Student Experience and ResLife Advisor - 16444
Reporting to the Service Delivery and Compliance Management team, you will be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors, supporting day-to-day operations in halls and ensuring an exceptional, student-focused experience. This includes responding to enquiries, resolving service issues, assisting with welfare concerns, and contributing to a supportive living environment through events and engagement initiatives.
Location: Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus
Salary: Grade 5 from £29,450 to £30,889 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £33,313 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution.
Hours: Full-time, shift-based including evenings and weekends

Reporting to the Service Delivery and Compliance Management team, you will be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors, supporting day-to-day operations in halls and ensuring an exceptional, student-focused experience. This includes responding to enquiries, resolving service issues, assisting with welfare concerns, and contributing to a supportive living environment through events and engagement initiatives.
You’ll work closely with ResLife Ambassadors, Estates teams and other University departments to help deliver a safe, welcoming and inclusive residential community. From handling service requests and maintenance queries to helping run welcome events and community activities, your role will be varied, people-focused, and critical to the success of our students’ residential journey.
We are looking for enthusiastic and empathetic individuals with:
- Experience in a customer service or administrative role
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- A proactive and flexible attitude, able to work effectively under pressure
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and administrative systems
- A genuine commitment to enhancing student wellbeing and community
You will work a shift pattern covering early mornings, evenings, to support our 24/7 residential operations.
