Reporting to the Senior Service Delivery and Compliance Manager of Student Living, this key post plays a vital role in ensuring the University complies with legislation, regulation, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety requirements associated with operating a residential estate in Higher Education.

You will need excellent knowledge of compliance frameworks, alongside experience managing student-facing service delivery. Brunel’s Student Living is one of the largest London-based residential campuses and has achieved Investor in People Gold status for its people-focused leadership.

As Service Delivery and Compliance Manager, you will lead and develop high-quality services for students, planning and monitoring resource use, overseeing professional standards, and continuously evaluating service delivery. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help drive improvements to processes and policies, and contribute to new initiatives with a focus on continual service enhancement.

You will have excellent people skills, capable of motivating a diverse team and forming strong working relationships across and beyond the University. You’ll need to be a strategic thinker who can also manage operational detail, with well-developed communication skills, as regular report writing, and delivery will form part of your responsibilities.

You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Housekeeping Supervisors, Assistants, and Operatives, managing regular audits and inspections, supporting seasonal planning, team development, and project delivery.

This role requires flexibility to support a high-quality, 24/7 customer-focused service. This includes some weekend working, limited annual leave availability during peak times, and occasional work on Bank Holidays and University Closure Days.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong ability to engage and lead others, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven experience in property management and effective team leadership in a customer-facing role. A broad knowledge of the UUK Code of Practice is essential.

Please include a supporting statement with your application that outlines how your experience, and skills meet the job description and person specification.
