Salary: Grade 10 from £61,929 to £67,422 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £71,365 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution (pro-rata if part-time)

The Division of Occupational Therapy seeks to recruit a Senior Lecturer (Occupational Therapy) part time. The applicant will have opportunities to develop teaching, learning and leadership skills working under the direction of the Divisional Lead. At this level you would be expected to undertake a leadership role within the Division.

The position can either be as an academic in teaching and research or an academic in education (teaching):
- Academic (Education) is for clinicians / academics who have education and leadership experience in academia. You will be largely responsible for teaching across a range of modules and will also be expected to engage in educational / pedagogical projects and research.
- Academic (Teaching and Research) is for individuals who have completed (or are near completion) of a PhD in occupational therapy or a related subject. You will be expected to engage in both teaching and on-going research in your field of expertise.

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic occupational therapists who will enhance the reputation of the Division through their clinical experience/research and innovative teaching, promoting effective student engagement in learning. Applicants will be an occupational therapist (registered with HCPC) with a CPD portfolio commensurate with research-led clinical practice and education. We welcome applications from people with professional experience of research and working in services relevant to the delivery of high quality occupational therapy education. You will need to be able to communicate effectively within a team and have the ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines.
