An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced employment lawyer to join the in-house Legal Services team at Brunel. Reporting directly to the University Secretary & General Counsel, you will play a crucial role in working with the University’s HR team responsible for around 2,000 members of staff.
Location: Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus
Salary: Grade 9 from: £53,202 to £62,829 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £66,437 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution (pro-rata if part-time).
Hours: Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced employment lawyer to join the in-house Legal Services team at Brunel. Reporting directly to the University Secretary & General Counsel, you will play a crucial role in working with the University’s HR team responsible for around 2,000 members of staff.
You will be responsible for providing day to day advice to members of the HR team which may include providing creative solutions to a wide range on initiatives such as reorganisations, acquisitions, in-sourcing and out-sourcing. You will also oversee litigation and be responsible for instructing external legal advice when necessary.

Prior in-house experience in an education setting is desirable but not essential to the role.
