Salary: Grade R1 from £36,390 to £47,671 per annum inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £ 51,758 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution. (Pro-rata if Part-time).

Brunel University London is looking to recruit a Research Fellow with specific research interest in any areas of global health particularly around lifestyle behaviour.
The Department of Health Sciences provides a collegiate and collaborative environment for the conduct of nationally and internationally relevant teaching and research examining contemporary issues aligned with the College Research Centres and University Research Institutes. This post is located in the Division of Global Public Health.
The Division has an international reputation in public health research including ageing studies, health economics, health policy, health promotion, population wellbeing and behavioural science. Opportunities exist across the College and University to develop collaborations with clinical, allied health and non-clinical experts. The post holder will have an opportunity to advance existing collaboration with international partners in sub-saharan Africa and local healthcare trusts, clinical commissioning groups, public health departments and other partners.
We are specifically looking to recruit individuals who have relevant experience or be interested in conducting research on lifestyle behaviours in sub-saharan Africa particularly Ghana. Their specialist subject area must be relevant to population health and may include (but not be limited to): global health, health economics, health policy, health promotion, and behavioural sciences. Prior experience in the use of large datasets will be desirable
Applicants must hold a PhD. Brunel University London is a research-intensive University; therefore, the successful applicant will be expected to produce high quality research and gain external research grants that contribute to the research profile of the Division.
