The Additive Manufacturing and 4D Printing Research Group is looking to recruit a Research Administrator
Location: Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus
Salary: Grade 6 from £33,895 to £35,740 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £38,388 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution. (Pro-rata for Part-time)
Hours: Part-time – 0.5 FTE
Contract Type: Fixed-term – 12 Months

The Additive Manufacturing and 4D Printing Research Group is looking to recruit a Research Administrator. The post-holder is expected to contribute to activities including but not limited to:
- Creating teaching material and conducting training events and workshops
- Collecting data through surveys, feedback and other data collection methods
- Supporting the management of project related activities such as reports, documentation, facilitation of meetings, attending meetings both local and overseas in-person
- Undertaking tasks related to administration processes including but not limited to report writing, papers and proposal / grant writing preparation
The successful applicant is expected to have a high level of initiative and an ability to work both collaboratively and independently. The candidate is expected to be able to travel locally and internationally in-person. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required and the ability to quickly adapt to a multinational environment is advantageous. The ideal candidate should have experience in administration or coordination tasks. Knowledge of production and manufacturing is desirable, but not essential. This is a 12-month fixed term 0.5FTE post (17.5 hours per week).
