Salary: Grade 6 from: £32,995 to £36,488 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £39,607 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution.

Brunel Library Services has a weekends/evenings team to offer enhanced student support 7 days a week as part of its Strategic Plan. We now have a full-time vacancy available.

As a supervisor, you will oversee (and contribute to) the successful operation of virtual and physical helpdesks and ensure effective, responsive and quality delivery of the Library’s front-line support, fetch and circulation services. The role includes line management of an Advisor role and supervision of security and casual student staff. You will also take the lead in ensuring that the Library study environment is well-maintained and managed out of hours.

The role will require you to work the following work pattern, Sunday 12pm-7pm, Monday -Wednesday 11am–7pm and Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm.

As part of the Student and Academic Services Directorate, Library Services are central to the University’s learning, teaching and research activities and you will be instrumental in promoting and integrating our offering to help deliver the University’s vision.
