Salary: Grade from: £29,150 to £33,013 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £34,804 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution. (Pro-rata if Part-time)

Brunel Medical School is part of the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences, which is a leading provider of health professional education, including Physiotherapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Psychology programmes. Brunel University London established a new Medical School in 2022. This academic year we welcomed both UK students and international medical students, bringing our total to over 350 MBBS students. In 2023, we also integrated the 2 year postgraduate Physician Associate programme into the Medical School.

Brunel Medical School is recruiting an Examinations and Assessment Administrator to join the Medical School’s Examinations and Assessment Team. In this role, you will support the examination and programmatic assessment processes across the 5-year MBBS programme, including the organisation and delivery of written, online and clinical assessments such as the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT), Applied Knowledge Progress Test (AKPT), Anatomy Spot Test (AST), individual Readiness Assurance Tests (iRATs) and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).

Working closely with the Academic Head of Assessment and the Examinations and Assessment Manager, you will support the work of the Medical School Assessment Committee and Operations Group, which will coordinate and monitor the development of the assessment programme and involve working closely with our assessment management software.

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified professional, preferably with some experience of assessment administration and related processes, as well as experience of ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The successful candidate will ideally also possess:

  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise multiple activities effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
