Brunel Medical School is seeking a Department Administrator to support the Senior Department Administrator.
Location: Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus
Salary (Grade 5): £29,150 to £33,013 inclusive of London Weighting with the potential to progress to £34,804 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution. (Pro-rata if Part-time)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours)

Brunel Medical School welcomed its first intake of medical students in September 2022, and the Physician Associate programme, established in 2016, joined the Medical School in August 2023. Brunel Medical School is part of the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences, which is a leading provider of health professions education, also including Physiotherapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Psychology programmes.
Brunel Medical School is seeking a Department Administrator to support the Senior Department Administrator. You will deliver administrative and secretarial support to the Medical School’s senior leadership team, support committee meetings, provide minute-taking, organise internal and external events, and undertake departmental purchasing, catering ordering and other associated administrative duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified administrative professional. You will need to co-ordinate and prioritise multiple activities effectively, while providing comprehensive and efficient administrative support to staff and students of the Medicine and Physician Associate Programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a new and exciting department.
